I agree that this bottle has a few flaws, but I have learned to deal with them. As for the carabiner I just took it off. This bottle was completely worth it.

Cheaply made buy a Sigg instead (2008-08-03)
You are paying for what you get. The screw top is made from cheap plastic, the threads are very easily damaged if you are not careful when screwing the lid on. The paint chips easily and the little carabiner is worthless.

Bottom line, by a Sigg brand aluminum bottle, they're a little more expensive but they are top quality.

leaking (2008-07-31)
The botle has a leak on the top and I can't send it back because I have already gone back to my country.
It was a waste of money, at least, for me.

So much for 'going green.' The second time my husband used this bottle he discovered rust on the inside around the mouth piece. I am planning to return it for a full refund.

Unhealthy bottle and bad company! (2008-07-30)
This bottle is unhealthy because the lid fits so poorly, every time I screw the cap on, it creates lots of plastic dust and particles that fall into the water.

Also, nowhere on the bottle or packaging (or company website) could I find out where this is made, and emails to the company's customer service with that question went unanswered. Don't buy!!!
