We are pleased with our new mattress. The built in cover is really nice. The valve is easier to use than our previous coleman mattress. It's great having a nice wide mattress. It is perfect for our extra wide sleeping bags. We don't like to feel confined. I would recommend the mattress and the extra wide coleman bags. We had a very comfy sleep.
Great for camping, extra bed for guests (2008-08-18)
We bought this king-sized air mattress for camping, two adults and two toddlers. Wow! No problem with air leakage, very comfortable, perfect for us to be able to get comfortable in our tent without 4 different little mats sliding all over the place. It wraps up well, but doesn't really fit back into the box for storage. The attached wrapper is very convenient.
We have decided that since this mattress is so darn comfortable, we should ditch our uncomfortable pull-out couch and get a new more comfortable one! AND, I am going to bring it to my parents' and in-laws homes when we visit. Their pull-out couches are awful!
We bought the rechargeable air pump from Coleman and loved that too!
Great Bed/Great Value (2008-08-18)
I purchased this bed for our summer vacation in FL. Three children slept on it for 3 nights without any problem. The matress hold on perfectly and did not deflate. It is such a great value. I would recommend it to anyone for family vacation, sleep over or what ever the need may be.
Honesty
King Size Comfort for Few $ (2008-08-09)
The coleman was a great value, for about $35 we got a temporary king-size bed for ourselves to sleep on in our temporary accomodations and a great guest bed. As with all of these air beds, remember to get a mattress pad or the bed will be a bit 'sweaty' even with sheets on - after all the air bed does not breath! Our king size, fitted sheets fit well enough and the size is great. Remember, too, that you will have to pump the mattress a number of times in the first week or two of use as the vinyl stretches in use - especially with two full-size adults sleeping on it.
For the money it is definitely five stars. Beds with their own built in pumps are nicer - but they cost a lot more money!
great purchase (2008-08-03)
This product worked GREAT! It was very easy to blow up and to remove the air. Love the fact it has its own storage case. It was VERY easy to roll up and I am 6 months pregnant. I took it camping and there was LOTS of room for me, my son, my niece. Holds air wonderfully! Had it aired up for 3 days and stayed nice and firm. Great buy.
